2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS

Born from Porsche Motorsport and engineered with uncompromising focus, the 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS represents the most extreme road-going expression of the 991.1 generation. Developed as a homologation-inspired track weapon, the GT3 RS builds upon the foundation of the standard GT3 with aggressive aerodynamic enhancements, extensive weight-saving measures, and unmistakable visual presence. A wide-body shell, massive rear wing, vented front fenders, and functional air intakes leave no doubt about its intent, while magnesium roof panels and carbon-fiber components underscore its motorsport pedigree.

Power comes from a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six producing 500 horsepower, paired exclusively with Porsche’s lightning-fast PDK transmission and a rear-wheel-drive layout. With a 9,000-rpm redline, razor-sharp throttle response, and relentless acceleration, the GT3 RS delivers a visceral, race-bred driving experience capable of 0–60 mph in just over three seconds. Combined with rear-axle steering, carbon-ceramic brakes, and track-focused suspension tuning, the 2016 GT3 RS offers staggering performance with surgical precision—cementing its status as one of the most revered modern RS models and a benchmark for naturally aspirated performance cars from Porsche.
