about the 67 Camaro
Representing the inaugural year of Chevrolet’s iconic pony car, the 1967 Camaro established a formula that would define American performance for generations to come. Introduced as Chevrolet’s answer to the Mustang, the first-generation Camaro combined aggressive styling, endless customization potential, and V8 power in a package that quickly became a muscle car legend. This particular example has been extensively restored and upgraded, featuring striking Black Gold Pearl paint, an RS-style grille with hideaway headlamps, an SS-style hood, front and rear spoilers, and a completely refreshed interior trimmed in black vinyl with gray cloth accents. Modern touches including Vintage Air climate control, a center console, custom instrumentation, and upgraded audio enhance comfort while preserving the unmistakable character of the original Camaro.
Under the hood, a replacement 350ci V8 delivers classic small-block Chevrolet performance, enhanced with an aluminum intake manifold, Edelbrock carburetor, Pertronix ignition, and a free-flowing dual exhaust system. Power is routed through a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission and a durable 10-bolt rear axle, while front adjustable coilovers, tubular suspension components, power steering, and power-assisted front disc brakes provide a far more capable driving experience than the original car ever offered. Blending timeless first-generation Camaro styling with carefully selected performance and comfort upgrades, this build captures the essence of American muscle while remaining ready to be enjoyed on today’s roads.
